LDraw.org Membership
--------------------
Defined, opt-in group of LDraw community participants who will have the
right to vote on resolutions put forward by the LDraw.org Leadership.

I had no problems understanding the difference between the Ldraw.org
Leadership and LSC membership and what's all about, although not being a
native speaker ;-), but I do not understand who these Ldraw.org members are?
Do THEY need to meet any requirements (part author, reviewer, programmer) in
order to elect the LSC members or is everyone invited?

They are a group that formed after James' death, to keep LDraw and its
community alive in honor of James, and because of the value of James'
inventions.

LDraw.org Members will be eligible to vote to ratify the document
if they themselves meet the requirements for membership in the LSC.

I'm not sure this is a good idea.  I think that only the LSC folks get to
vote.  If LDraw.org folks are LSC members, then they can vote, otherwise not.
I could see potential issues with a mechanism outlined above.  It empowers
LDraw.org members to vote, even though the community has not explicitly said
they can vote.

I guess I'm officially objecting to the above part of the specification.

hmm ... probably it's due to a non-proper knowledge of the english language
but now I'm even more confused! as far as I understand we have Ldraw
members, which are not part of the community, community members which are
not Ldraw members, people who may contribute with parts or progs, but do not
post on lugnet and aren't related to ldraw and last but not least the usual
bunch of lurkers (hi guys ;-) to make it short: whom of these will elect the
LSC members (LDraw 1.0.0 doc?) and which requirements will they have to meet?
