Oops, I forgot you use ADA instead of C.  I don't know if the

Thanks. I suppose I should try to build a cross-compiler, so
I can compile for Win32 and MacOS as well as for Linux and
Tru64.

The MinGW documentation you pointed to seemed to be based on
GCC 2.95, which is too bug-ridden to use for compiling Ada
programs. Would it be possible simply to build GCC 3.1 as a
Linux hosted Win32 targeting cross-compiler? Or are some
special tricks needed to make it work?

The new executables seem to have longer names than the buildmpd
and splitmpd mentioned on the MPD Files web page.

Thanks. And yes. I have updated the documentation on the web
page, so it reflects the longer names and the slightly
changed syntax.

be doing something wrong, but I couldn't get the build_mpd_file
program to work unless I used the -model flag, and it's listed
as optional in the help message.

Yes, but both the documentation and the help message is
misleading. I have fixed the documentation, and I will
publish fixed source packages ASAP.

Play well,

Jacob
