  Re: are you sure?

(...) This would work, but isn't it a little bit strange? I think you should make only the 2nd subpart for the gold surfaces. The pattern you can make in a Subpart in the main directory (like a real part). See 80.dat or other Subparts in the main (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: disabling BFC (was "Head w/ Headset Over Brown Hair")  [DAT]

(...) Try: 0 BFC INVERTNEXT 1 16 0 0 0 10 0 0 0 10 0 0 0 10 2-4cyli.dat Steve (22 years ago, 26-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: question about subparts

(...) As others have said, you *must* put the gold areas into a separate subfile from the rest. But you can still have a subfile for the entire pattern, that you can use in multiple parts. Steve (22 years ago, 26-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

  are you sure?  [DAT]

(...) sounds weird. just to make it clear that I got it right. both subparts (subpart 1 is my frontside, subpart 2 is just the color gold) go in the parts\s-folder and the 3004p90.dat part would look like this: 0 Brick 1 x 2 with Classic Space Logo (...)   Re: Adventurers Minifig Reference

(...) Harumph. It appears that someone forgot to click "save" after he keyed in all those filenames. So I guess the splat isn't so redundant after all. Steve (22 years ago, 26-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Adventurers Minifig Reference

(...) i used it to mark minifigs that already had one or more files submitted to the tracker. It's somewhat redundant -- existing files are listed; if the full file name isn't given, then it doesn't exist yet. Steve (22 years ago, 26-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: can L3P have option to *NOT* give warning for "emphasis lines"?

Lars, I just wanted a way of letting a novice know that a color-16 line _might_ not be an _accident_ on the part of the author. A novice reviewer probably hasn't read your FAQ, and is just using the "File Check" option from the "Tools" page at the (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: question about subparts

(...) What he said... ;-) The _ONLY_ legitimate way to handle dithered colors is with a type-1 (sub)file reference. Thus, you _must_ have one separate (sub)file for each dithered color to be used in a specific pattern. (22 years ago, 25-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: question about subparts

(...) Yes you have to, else you wouldn't need subparts for dittered colors. CU Bernd (22 years ago, 26-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Adventurers Minifig Reference

(...) Steve, What's the splat ("*") for? Thanks, Franklin (22 years ago, 25-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)
