Re: The LDraw Community is what each person makes it

Tim, I'm no whiz with Ldraw, MLCad, POV-ray, or any of the other tools. I'm just a mid-30's guy who likes to mess around with this stuff. But, I do a fair amount of technical writing (user guides, SOP's, etc.) as part of my job. I'll volunteer my (...) (23 years ago, 24-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: LDraw Names for Monorail Parts

(...) Am I missing something here? I see the parts for the train, but not the track. Is it there? Also, has anyone created track for the 9V Train sets? I can't find that anywhere either.   Re: LDraw Names for Monorail Parts

(...) And thank you Bernd for that, very much!!!! My vote is for a new category. The only commonality is that both Mono and trains are electrical and that is a weak pretext to hang shoehorning the mono stuff into trains, in my view. (23 years ago, 22-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.trains)

Re: When Did Tiles Get Their Groove?

(...) The only decorated tile without a finger groove that I know of is the 2x2 with a large black disk (3068P17). This came from the Homemaker set 263 dated 1974. I've no idea whether this _also_ exists with a finger groove. Chris (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)
