New Features:

-Automatic detection of concave quads, they are now output as two triangles

-Threshold settings for determinants used in detection of coplanar triangles
and concave quads. This allows the user some finesse control over the "mating"
of triangles into quads and whether concave quads are "broken" into 2
triangles

-Option to use 3DSMAX data regarding the visibilty of edge lines. Setting the
visibility of edges on the mesh in MAX will have them automatically generated
in the .DAT file

-Option to "Lock" axes when generating edge lines, this way only lines parallel
to a certain axis are generated

-Parse routines now check for copointal vertices and modify the line type
accordingly (i.e. a quad with 2 co-existant verts gets changes to a triangle)

-Cleaner interface. All status, ASCII info screens now contained in the main
window

-Now has its own Setup program

Old Features:

-Automatic creation of .DAT type 2 (line), 3 (triangle), 4 (quad) and 5
(optional line) entries from a 3DSMAX ASCII export. MAX versions 1.x and 2.x
supported.

-Automatic "mating" of MAX mesh coplanar triangles into quads

-Selectively convert any/all objects from a MAX export

-Retention of Author and Part name information

You can download version 2.0 at:

The file size has tripled due to the use of a new OCX and the setup proggy,
sorry.

(using an actual VB setup is fresh for me, so let me know if it goes awry)
