Re: New program for Macs: BrickDraw3D

LOL. The more things change... Long time followers of LCAD will note that Rayshade is the renderer on which I based the L3G0 library. -gyug (...) [...] (...) (24 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Has the minfig gem been done?

(...) Hmmm.... Gimme a few hours. (Okay, put the "secret project" on hold, this one should be a bit easier... ;-) Seriously, what should we call this one? It's not necessarily a "Minifig Accesory". Franklin (24 years ago, 1-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Test version of LDraw Add-On Installation

(...) Do you mean that each time you get a new file, ~LDAO001.bat, ~LDAO002.bat, ~LDAO003.bat and so on ? If so, then the same thing happens for me too. Greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (24 years ago, 30-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Test version of LDraw Add-On Installation

(...) I decided to go ahead and download the test version too. It didn't destroy Windows 98 (SE, I think) this time. However, the VEC batch processes still run every time I start LDAO instead of just once, and the Minifig modeler (which was actually (...) (24 years ago, 30-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Has the minfig gem been done?

I'm speaking of the little 1x1 gem found in many ninja sets, ocatgonal with a tiny cylinder at the base... i can't find it on any parts pages or updates and can't locate it in the partlist. J (24 years ago, 30-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Full details are available there. Steve Bliss (24 years ago, 30-Sep-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev) !!

  Re: tubing  [DAT]

In lugnet.cad.dev, Larry Pieniazek writes: Ok, for anyone that wants to give this a whirl... I've attached a sample MPD. It has tubing the length I expect... 14 plates high. It renders fine in MLCad and in L3Lab (using the versions I posted (...) (24 years ago, 30-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

More tips for L3P (was: Re: LDraw.exe)

(...) Try this: assume you have L3P.exe in the C:\Pov directory, the Ldraw programs in the C:\Ldraw directory, and the shortcut for L3P I've described previously. With Notepad you make a new file with the following content: @ECHO OFF SET (...) (24 years ago, 29-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: part skins (was Re: some thoughts on ldraw parts)

(...) <snip> I feel this suggestion as worded combines two different, separable ideas, both of which merit discussion. One would be the introduction of subcategories for decorated versions of parts within the authoring tools. The other is a new, (...)
