I'm currenly working on the Technic Pneumatic Airtank (view the progress
at <URL:http://www.math.uio.no/~fredrigl/technic/ldraw/>, if you want
to) and I just realized that there is one element which is common in all
pneumatic parts: The "tap"/"nozzle" thingey to which you connect the
rubber tube.
So my question is this: Does it make sense to suggest that this nozzle
thingey gets it's own primitive? Oh, and what English word is best to
describe it? Is "nozzle" OK, or is it just hideous? I'm don't know too
much technical English, so I wouldn't know.
BTW, I seem to remember that Linc Smith drafted some of the pneumatic
elements. Perhaps he made the nozzle element? Whatever happened to
Linc, BTW? I hope he finds his way back to the newsgroups.

| (...) It's not used in many parts so maybe there's no need to make a primitive for it but you could make it a subpart that goes into the parts/s directory and can be shared with the other pneumatic parts. Leonardo (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
