There were some suggestions for description changes on the new parts.  Any
support for these changes, or leave the parts as-is?

2871.dat  http://hugin.ldraw.org/JJ_Memorial/voting/2871.gif
Current Description:  Electric Train Motor  9V Decorative Side
New suggestion:    Electric Train Motor  9V Bogie Detail

Speaking as the author of this part,  I like the idea of using the word
"Bogie" in the description. But also I would like to express in the name
that you normally clip this part on the side of the train motor.
So I would prefer the following description:

Electric Train Motor  9V Bogie Side Clip

I favor this one as well.

The term "bogie" refers to the _swivelling_ function of a wheelset.

I can't see what about 2871 marks it with that function.

The addition of a bogie plate to the motor would give a bogie function,
but that doesn't have much to do with 2871.

IMHO, 2871 adds "suspension" to a motor, but not bogie features.

----
From WWWebster:

Main Entry: bo·gie
Variant(s): also bo·gey /'bO-gE/
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural bogies also bogeys
Etymology: origin unknown
Date: 1835
1 : a low strongly built cart
2 a chiefly British : a swiveling railway truck b : the driving-wheel
assembly consisting of the rear four wheels of a 6-wheel automotive
truck
3 : a small supporting or aligning wheel (as on the inside perimeter of
a tank tread)
----

While some bogies (railroad bogies especially) might have this sort of
side decoration, not all bogies (in the generic use of the term) would.

Furthermore, plenty of railway wheelsets have suspension such as that
shown on 2871, but they don't swivel and so wouldn't be a bogie.

Once again, Joshua's argument is sound.
So, any other good name suggestions?
