I do have a significant portion of my VEC converted to 25-colors.  I did it
several updates ago, but have not maintained it.

Ouch! 30 seconds for the whole thing? Wow. Good thing there's room for improved performance in the algorithms. BTW, have you (or anyone) converted the VEC image files to 256-colors? (this would only affect the "csLoadPictures" steps) Steve (...) (27 years ago, 10-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
