Is anyone else bugged by the DAT extension? Does anyone else use other extensions for various flavors of (near-)LDraw source files? I stick with DAT for vanilla LDraw files. For other files files, I've been using: LDL - LDLite extensions (especially (...) (26 years ago, 29-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) the (...) At least "Star Wars people" would not have to go looking for it. Someone using the part who is unfamiliar with Star Wars sets might never think to look for it there. That's the basic problem with theme-based nomenclature. It makes (...) (26 years ago, 29-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) These two comment meta-commands are not currently recognized by any programs, AFAIK. They are both part-file meta-commands, intended for use by part-search and part-catalog programs. CATEGORY specifies the part's category. I think all the (...) (26 years ago, 29-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
