| Hello Chris, (...) Nice that you did this experiment.. On the long run it would be nice if you did not only remove the self-certifications but also review other parts instead. | Since there was never any response from reviewers who affirmed that they would help review these files if I submitted them, I'll hold off on this project for now. | (...) Yes, they are official files. The parts\s\ directory is for 'subparts', or sections of objects, as needed by part authors. (...) We're working on that. Search for "BFC" in the .cad groups.
