  Re: #8880 Wheel & Tire

AFAIK the only pieces still missing from the 8880 are the wheels and tyres, the gear stick and shift plate and the stickers and decorated elements. If you have finished these parts and are looking for something else to do, dont bother with the 8448 (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  #8880 Wheel & Tire

After sometime (a lot of it) I finally solved my registration problem with my Cad Software. So the parts mencioned in the subject are due to appear tomorrow, since I forgot them at home today.   Re: Math Help Needed PLEASE

How embarrassing. Please ignore my previous post. Apparently Lars beat me to it and even brought up a point I missed. Now I have to go figure out how to retract a message. Don (24 years ago, 19-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Transform PS from model space to unrotated part space. Round the x, y, z values to the nearest grid points. (add half a grid size, divide by grid size, multiply by grid size) Transform PS back to model space. I think this algorithm may be (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) What do you mean by "translated into model space" ? Back from World coordinates? By applying inv(VM)? How can you find a z value for the screen point. There are many possible values.   Math Help Needed PLEASE

Hy, I'm running into math problems again, after I recogniced whats the problem with the movements in MLCad. Now here is what I would like to do: There is a virtual grid which is bound to a part. The distance of the grid lines is given by a vector (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: L3PAO Runtime Error

Well, whyt dont you asked someone who fixed the problem about 2 days ago? First, make sure the L-draw add on is installed. If so, go to the LDAO's ldraw.ini file, then scroll to the bottom. You should see [LDAO] and [L3PAO] and some others. Insert (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  L3PAO Runtime Error

Well, since I've been getting back into Ldrawing lately, that means I've been getting back in to POV-Raying, but I came across a problem that I had just before I stopped doing this stuff for a while.   Question on part

I am in the process of building a model, but there is one part I need. I'm not sure if it exists or not because I don't have any idea what it would be called. It is the tubular piece found in the Technic Battle Droid set in red, yellow, and black, (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Error in subfile found

While creating a minifig using part 973p101, the Star Wars pilot pattern, I discovered that the subpart that it uses, 973s01, has both front and back faces removed instead of just the front. That's all Ryan (24 years ago, 18-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
