Re: Parts for LDraw or parts for POV-Ray?

(...) Gee, hath my memory deceived me? Maybe it WAS 0.83 source I wanted (I think I had 0.75 source). Carsten wasn't interested, I was. I wanted to at least bring the functionality of BriCAD (as opposed to btopia) to Windows, and perhaps build it (...) (25 years ago, 21-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: POV-RAY orange color

(...) one, (...) Do you mean silver or gray? When you L3P just one brick, POV-Ray ignores the coloring for some reason, and just uses the default color of the model (gray: 7). With more bricks, POV-Ray uses the correct colors. --Bram (25 years ago, 21-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: [ldraw.org] Update

(...) Than that's not a problem with ldraw.org, that's a problem with the server Mike's pages are on. I can upload my copy of mlcad13.zip to ldraw.org and have two download location choices - he ok'ed the download from ldraw.org. I'll make a note of (...)   Re: POV-RAY orange color

Strange. I rendered a brick colored 462 in POV and it came out silver. When I sandwiched the brick between a white (15) and a black (0) one, it came out orange. Maybe 462 does not always work... Scott R Dennett wrote in message (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: [ldraw.org] Update

(...) Why? Seems to me that changing to white or grey or blue, if it meant approval from TLG would be no big deal... Red is the color they use for most everything brickish. (...)   Re: [ldraw.org] Update

(...) I thought about that. The problem is, ldraw.org *doesn't* do pieces which aren't real-world LEGO. Funny colors, maybe. Fake pieces, never. Steve (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.publish)

(...) I suggest capitalizing LEGO in the linking image and adding the (R), otherwise, great job! --Bram (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
