  Re: DAT voting page up

(...) A big update - and welcome to some new names - great work. I have some comments on the new parts: Airport Runway baseplates (606p33, 608p33) and Crosswalk Baseplate (425p01) These appear to have been authored by concurrently defining the white (...)   Re: DAT voting page up

A note on the 9V Mini-motor: There is a box3#8.dat primitive which Ldlite is currently unable to draw. This primitive forms the wire notch on the top of the motor, but since the voting page is done with Ldlite, a hole exixts. Terry, maybe you could (...) (26 years ago, 23-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Suggestions for JJM

One more for good measure :-) On all the pages, explicitly set the color of the visited link to something other than the background image. Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 23-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Suggestions for JJM

Here's just a couple of suggestions for the James Jessiman Memorial site, to raise some awareness: 1. Put it on the LEGO webring. 2. Be sure it is indexed on www.adequate.com's lego search engine. Basically, be sure it is promoted (in a positive (...) (26 years ago, 23-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Noting gaps in parts sequences

(...) Oh. OK, then the '0'..'9' would be '0'..'7'. (Any idea why 8 & 9 aren't defined? Did LEGO forget to include them or has no one gotten around to DAT-ifying them yet?) (...) These are handled, and mapped into spaces (plain 3005.dat) brick by: my (...) (26 years ago, 22-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Noting gaps in parts sequences

(...) '8' and '9' aren't currently defined. Also, don't forget to handle other undefined characters (maybe the above does this?) (...) Could {part number} and {author name} be turned into arguments, as well? Actually, if you have a generic app which (...) (26 years ago, 22-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

[Parts] Anyone doing the Octan logo pattern?

Is anyone working on a decorated element with the Octan logo (either the textual graphic Octan or the yin-yang symbol)? Has anyone done so? I'm experimenting with a technique of making higher-quality decorations for patterned elements. I using the (...) (26 years ago, 22-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
