(...) snip (...) This is caused by the files: p/box3#8p.dat parts/s/swh2.dat parts/s/swh3.dat ...all of which are empty files in 2008-1. (...) That seems better than what I get. I had the loading parts window never go away, and when I exited and restarted Bricksmith, it just shows that window for a little bit and then crashes. Since some popular LDraw programs are available for the Mac these days - LDView, LPub, L3Lab, and of course Bricksmith - I think it's only reasonable to provide parts updates in a format readily accessible to Mac users. (...) Actually the switch turning off condline controls scaling could be a sub-option of "Show control points" and be active only in this case.
