Re: Unnoficial Parts (Tiles with Edge)

(...) I think that was always the intention. The "~Moved to" and 30xxa.dat files are now on the Parts Tracker. (URL) (22 years ago, 8-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDraw Moonbase Project

(...) send it to you. If you want, you can use (link to, copy onto your site, whatever), the special baseplate part files I made for designing moonbase modules. They're on my brickshelf account, at (URL) Steve (22 years ago, 8-Feb-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  LDraw.org Linking Images?

Hey - Someone emailed me a while ago asking why there weren't images on LDraw.org such as banners and buttons to use as links. Truth be told, when I redesigned the site a year ago, I forgot to add those, and haven't put them up since. The old ones (...) (22 years ago, 8-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Random bricks

Hmm, make it so? I mean, this (URL) is not realistic. Bricks are inside each other, but I guess that does not matter. Another thought... boy, I am thinking today :-) Using a similar tool, could you make a heap or pile of bricks? That would be nice (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Random bricks

(...) Not at all. It doesn't become difficult until you want it to look realistic. Play well, Jacob (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Random bricks

Hi all, I just had a thought. Would it be possible to make a little tool that generates an LDraw file with random placed bricks? I mean like this: (URL) can imagine it was a pain to place and rotate all these bits and parts? Also this: (URL) in the (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Making parts 2999 and 2998 work together

Steve, I agree with your opinion. I am one of the people that have the 8448 modeled and do not mind one bit when I have to re-position a part so that it's orientation is more sensible. It's a small price to pay for the over all good for the entire (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Dimensions needed for part 4424

See: (URL) working on reviewing 4424.dat, the washtub/half-barrel. I do not have one of these parts. Using the LDraw file, I got a rough size of 4.5 x 4.5 (actually, it's more like 4.4 x 4.4). Could who has the actual part please check the (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)
