  Re: Possible replacement for 1-8sphe.dat

(...) I think these should have 4 decimal places, as with the majority of the circular primitives. The reason for this is that there is often a need to use 3DPs in parts. Where these include circular primitives and scale them up by a factor of 10 (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  Re: Possible replacement for 1-8sphe.dat

(...) I think your both of your files are significant improvements over the existing primitives. My only concern is the possible impact changing the primitive could have on other files, where surfaces intersect spheres, but not at the edges of the (...)   Alternative possible hi-res sphere primitive  [DAT]

Please read my previous post regarding a possible replacement for 1-8sphe.dat. This post will make more sense if you do. Once I got my sphere tesselation algorithm to work, it was straightforward to generate a hi-res version of the sphere primitive. (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  Possible replacement for 1-8sphe.dat  [DAT]

I started a discussion on the .dev group regarding sphere tesselation a little while back, and it came out that there is some dissatisfaction with the current sphere primitive. I have finished the code which generates a replacement sphere primitive, (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

[lego/lcad] new primitive 1-8sphc.dat - 1/8 sphere cut off (aka rounded corner)  [DAT]

Doing this "job search" thing must be frying my brain. :-P Steve, I finally realized what you were saying, and that my file wasn't correct, so I've fixed the DAT file. Here's the fixed version. It's been re-centered and re-aligned. Please LMKWYT, (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

(...) Yup. (...) Go for it. :-) Also, if needed, please feel free to copy the image(s) for illustrating what this primitive is for. Franklin (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)
