(...) Look at this log for 4-4disc.dat: (URL) It shows on May 7, the old votes were wiped out and a new version was submitted. Carsten then certified the new version, and Franklin held it. Steve (22 years ago, 13-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

(...) deleted (...) Actualy I checked them 2 days later and it still doesn't say that a new version of the part was submitted. Maybe it's because they are fixed versions of official parts? (22 years ago, 11-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

(...) I'm an idiot, but I think I understand now. The larger *sphe.dat files must simply include of a bunch of 1-8sphe.dat instances as type 1 lines. So yes, you only need the type 5 edge lines in the 1-8sphe.dat file if it's made right. Don (22 years ago, 8-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

(...) Either: a) You rechecked the details pages too soon, before the PT had a chance to clear the votes, or b) You rechecked too late, after Carsten and Franklin had re-reviewed the files. Steve (22 years ago, 8-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

(...) He put in the type 5 lines at the joins between the eighth spheres in the n-8sphe files (where n > 1). So he put a set in the one join of the 2-8sphe.dat, 4 sets in the 4-8sphe.dat, and 12 sets in the 8-8sphe.dat. So instead of just being type (...) I thought the idea was that ALL these primitives would have type 5 lines at the edges, but they would be extended in the tangent plane and thus only do half the job, (...)
