Just try not to make a mesh of things.

BTW, you can dissassemble a horse using a letter opener.  The two halves
of the body are just friction-fit together, not permanently connected
(ie, they are not glued, cemented, nor welded).  I think they use up an
entire tube of friction on each horse.

I've taken two or three horses apart.  Be a bit careful, to avoid
marring the edges where the two halves come together.
