(...) I see in the stl2dat release notes for version 1.12 an options -o5 (which isn't in the documented options list above) that makes it generate convex optional edges (I think it means concave). That's great news. Just out of curiosity, do the green and blue bits have any significance, or are they just random? Since LDView was used for the part images, and there are plenty of smooth curves, it appears that stl2dat did a reasonably good job (...) (18 years ago, 27-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)
