BTW, L3P has a problem with mirrored parts:
Part 3935.DAT "0 Wing  4 x  4 Right" only has one line:
  1 16  0 0 0  -1 0 0  0 1 0  0 0 1  3936.dat
which is a mirror of the left wing.

Hmm, isn't there any abs[-olute value] function that one could insert
somewhere so that the x and z values for the studs are either both positive
or both negative?

The main problem is, that the POV code of an object is only parsed and evaluated once,
and not each time an object is referenced/instantiated.
Any conditions/expressions are evaluated once and compiled into a binary structure internally.
