Question about stud orientation

I noticed when looking at part 6002 posted at the tracker that one of the
studs is rotated 90 degrees when compared to the other three.  This is only
visible if you use a program that supports stud logos (such as my LDView
program).

Is this something that should be considered during part authoring?
Obviously it will only be visible in a few programs (LDView and high-quality
mode for L3P are the only two I am aware of, but there may be more).

BTW, L3P has a problem with mirrored parts: Part 3935.DAT "0 Wing 4 x 4 Right" only has one line: 1 16 0 0 0 -1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 3936.dat which is a mirror of the left wing. If L3P were to render the stud logos correctly, (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
