  Re: DATHeader New Release

mikeheide schrieb: (...) I forgot to mention that the version number has to be 1.1.3 or later. All version up to 1.1.2 can only write back to file 65.000 bytes. cu mikeheide (17 years ago, 4-Sep-07, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Dean Earley schrieb: (...) Yes, you are right. The last step before writing to disc was to put all in a text box. So stupid. Fixing was easy and should have not rise other problems in this case. Many thanks for your hint. cu mikeheide (17 years ago, 4-Sep-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad)

  DATHeader New Release

The problem is fixed. Now it should be possible to process files with approx. size by 1.5 GByte. Sorry for the trouble that maybe caused this bug to you. cu mikeheide (17 years ago, 4-Sep-07, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Racers Track

I found the Racers track straight as an LDRAW part, listed under "Sports Track 8 x 16 Straight", "parts/42936.dat": (URL) anyone have a file or work-in-progress for the curve, part 42938? See Bricklink's list of parts, under "Track System": (URL) (...) (17 years ago, 3-Sep-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: DATHeader ALERT!

(...) I seem to recall it was written in VB? If so, the VB text box has a content size limit of 65K. The only way around this is to work on an in memory string buffer and not store (and read back) the result in the text box. (17 years ago, 2-Sep-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad)

  DATHeader ALERT!

Please do not use DATHeader on files that exceed 64k because they will be cut at 64k. I will investigate that problem later. I fixed the problem that I had by mirrored subfiles. cu mikeheide (17 years ago, 2-Sep-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad)

  Re: L(EGO)Draw parts

  Re: L(EGO)Draw parts

(...) Oh, yeah, forgot about that. I think that was even brought up the last time I was involved in such a discussion. --Travis (17 years ago, 27-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Re: L(EGO)Draw parts

(...) But you should still see them on transparent parts, right? Don (17 years ago, 27-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Re: L(EGO)Draw parts

(...) I see in the stl2dat release notes for version 1.12 an options -o5 (which isn't in the documented options list above) that makes it generate convex optional edges (I think it means concave). That's probably why the inner part isn't smooth in (...) (17 years ago, 27-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)
