  Re: prolific minifig files

(...) To be fair, many of the minifig torso DAT files I posted to the Tracker were written by other authors and posted by them here in LUGNet. (I'll gleefully take full bragging rights for my minifig _face_ files, though...) >:D Franklin (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: updating "Leg" files (was "The Mummy")

(...) Nope, my parents' PC is a Dell, and I don't know what brand of PC-clone I've got at my apartment (it was a hand-me-down from Mom when she got the Dell). I know I've got a freeware application to *un*-zip stuff, I just don't have anything to (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Re: updating "Leg" files (was "The Mummy")

(...) Uh, sure. No zip? What are you running, a Mac? ;) Steve (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: updating "Leg" files (was "The Mummy")

(...) Err... My PC doesn't have "zip" capability. I'll email the individual files to you, OK? Thanks, Franklin (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part - Ice Planet girl

Many thanks, Bernd. I can't give the hardcore LDraw review, but I think this will work for the purposes of the IP 2002 contest for sure. -- Hop-Frog (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part - Ice Planet girl

(...) Sorry, but on my head (only one) it's like I made. (...) Yes that's right, I'll fix this. (...) You are right, I forgot to delete them from the original head. (...) (see above) CU Bernd (22 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: updating "Leg" files (was "The Mummy")

(...) Could you please take a minute, zip these files up, and email them to parts@ldraw.org ? That would save me time, trying to extract the files from the lugnet posts. (...) Alright, sounds good. Steve (22 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: when to use "~" for title of subfile...

(...) Parts that are 'subparts', in the sense that they always appear as a segment of a more complex part. A simple example is the "Car Steering Wheel" - 3829. It's actually three files: 3829.DAT Car Steering Wheel 3829B.DAT ~Car Steering Wheel (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
