For those of you who rembember me, I'm back. I'm going to be picking back up with the patterned parts, and the first thing I'm doing is fixing all the problems with the parts I've already done. Thank for the info. I called it a "Crusader's" shield because Set Reference for model 1491 listed it as under Lego > System > Castle > Crusaders. Now that you mention it, there is also a problem with part #3660 (Slope Brick 45 2 x 2 Inverted ), but only when viewed from the side. THIS piece got me working with triangles. "Not bad, if I say so myself..." (...) Yes. This has been discussed before. The original version of the part looks like the one in the library, while the new one is the way you describe.
