Re: MiniBot Head Star Wars Battle Droid is complete  [DAT]

(...) Actually, I don't use optional lines when creating a part. The .dat below is of mostly (what I was able to reconstruct from saves) of what I did when I made this part, but somethings are missing or different (the ears and eyes) from the (...)   Re: 6002 mpd version, now I think I got it.  [DAT]

(...) Just to test this out I dug up Travis Cobbs' hires sphere from about 8 months ago in (URL) and pasted it in. I also substituted the other hires primitives from the p\48 subdirectory. I think it looks much better except of course for the (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Minifig Head with Darth Maul pattern - 3626bpDM.dat complete  [DAT]

This has been submitted to parts@ldraw.org. I've now added the optional lines - looking at other heads in the parts dir I could find no special handling of the optional lines depending no matter what the head pattern so I have used the same format.   Re: 6002 mpd version, now I think I got it.

Since I noticed this uses bits of the only piece I ever made, I felt compelled to check it out. Looks nice. One thing though. I used the hires primitives in the p\48 subdirectory for 30056.dat. These don't quite match up with the regular primitives. (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: MiniBot Head Star Wars Battle Droid is complete

(...) Very cool! Looks quite nice, even in purple. ;) But there is one little detail that c/should be changed: don't use WRITE statement. Comments are fine, just leave off the WRITE. LDraw sees 0 WRITE as a command, and displays the comments each (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Old 1 x 1 round brick?

(...) Oops! My fubar! I told you the part was enormously complex! As it turns out, I was basing my DAT on the existing 3062b data, but I used the smaller, bottom cylinder as the basis for mine. The piece I'm looking for is indeed the one you (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Old 1 x 1 round brick?

Well, there is 3062-old.dat that is very similar to yours. It is a little larger in diameter than yours. It is part of the official LCad update from 97-01. (...) (23 years ago, 6-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: MiniBot Head Star Wars Battle Droid is complete

(...) Good work on a challenging part - well done. Any chance of including the optional (type 5) lines for the curved head surface? Chris (23 years ago, 6-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

I think the top of the file should look like this - then it will launch L3Lab as a plugin from the web interface. 0 FILE 6002.dat 0 part 6002 round Panel 6 x 6 x 9 with Spherous Top 0 by Mark Kennedy 0 based on 2572 by unknown author 0 with (...)
