Re: Need part number for a dangerous predator

(...) Indeed. The task was way too daunting for me with all the triangles and quadrilaterals that were in place. (...) This is the sort of case that exists in my cat.   [Idea] New kind of tore for large diameter  [DAT]

I have defined a tore that does not use the tore primitive because the standard primitive where to rough for a tore of that diameter. The 48 version was to detailed for me. The file 2741c.dat could be a base for a new sort of tore primitive. It has (...) (24 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Here you go. You should check out Steve Bliss' LDraw Add-On, which has a very handy inline function. I also removed the 0 Step lines.   Container Box 2 x 2 x 2 Door with Slot Star Wars Pattern  [DAT]

I took the Rebel Symbol from the 3068p101 and then added all the other stuff. So, you need two files for this (unless a person that has the tallent can re-doo the symbol part, I will try maybe) to work. I put it in my '/s' directory to keep it out (...) (...) <snip> With a handle like LummoxJR and a very refreshing laziness (write a Really Useful Tool to avoid hard drudge work), you must be a RAH fan.   Re: Need part number for a dangerous predator

Re: Need part number for a dangerous predator

(...) Thanks! The cat looks much better with the conditional edge lines. (...) That's a good idea for a LDraw tool! I generally find that edge lines are fairly difficult to handle, so I reckon other people will enjoy the idea as well. Fredrik (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Need part number for a dangerous predator  [DAT]

(...) Thanks. I hadn't considered conditional edge lines before (this being my first part, it never crossed my mind; I'm still fairly new to Ldraw and MLcad), but I liked the idea of putting them in.   Rhino size settings

In case anyone out there uses Rhino and want to model parts here's the rough specs: 20 Rhino units = 1 Lego width (i.e. the width of a 1x1 block) 24 Rhino units = 1 Lego height 12 Rhino units = 1 stud diameter 4 Rhino units = 1 stud hieght (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
