Re: Need part number for a dangerous predator

(...) Thanks! The edge lines I put in for Ldraw's and MLcad's sake; they make it easier to see the important features of the cat's face, plus the edge along the bottom I think is important to preserve. In POV-Ray of course they vanish, though. I (...) (24 years ago, 25-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Need part number for a dangerous predator

(...) I think it's a pretty amazing first part! Nice work. I'm not sure about use of the edge lines on things like the eyes, etc. These get lost when you POV. If there really are marks or grooves in the part there, you may want to try to model them. (...) (24 years ago, 25-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Need part number for a dangerous predator

(...) Sounds like this is not the part number. Many parts have numbers of the form "n nn" or "n-nn" which probably refer to indivudual sites within the injection mould. Only the larger ones have room to include the TLC part number, typically in the (...) (24 years ago, 25-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Need part number for a dangerous predator

(...) Interesting... I never noticed the part numbers before. On the cat, all I can see is some writing in the stud hole underneath: (c) LEGO 1 07 That 7 might be a 1; it's very hard to tell because it's at the very edge. However 1 07 as far as I (...) (...) Welcome!!! I just looked at the cat part. Pretty good for a first part! But i can not help you with the part number, Although it should be printed some where on the part. Any how, welcome as a member to the CAD Community. C-Ya!! --Austin (24 years ago, 25-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Bendible Objects?

For bendable axles and electric wires you could use my bend thingie creator. The axles are the best but the wires aren't that great.   Need part number for a dangerous predator  [DAT]

Submitted for your approval, my very first Ldraw part: The cat. I'm a newbie to the program, via MLcad, and I've been enjoying the experience a lot. I really needed this part, and as far as I could see no one was working on it, so I decided to try a (...) (24 years ago, 25-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Bendible Objects?

What's the easiest way to form bendilble object in the DAT format? I found a utility for hose part 754 but nothing for tubes, hoses in various Technis sets, flexible axles, etc... Is there another utility out there? Also, on a side note, I'm trying (...) (24 years ago, 25-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: part 10034 mockup

Thanks for the improvements. I used this important part on many models, and it's a shame there's STILL no official version availible (this complaint goes to all of the other part-developers)!   Re: Number for hoses/tubes ?

(...) They are the same. (...) I also think that there are no standard numbers for the tubes but I need something for LeoCAD. Can we use numbers from the 3 digits range ? Leonardo (24 years ago, 24-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
