Oh my god!!!! I'm sooooo sorry you wrote this huge reply just for me. I thought the part was just a .dat file so I immediately stored it as such. (...) MLCad and LEdit both go strictly by the descriptive names for parts. LDraw Add-On's VEC looks for the 0 CATEGORY meta-statement for organizing parts. LDList and Partsref make use of both 0 KEYWORDS and 0 CATEGORY for organizing and/or finding (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
