  Re: Better UCS X-wing Canopy

(...) Thanks for the encouragement. It means a lot, especially coming from you, Steve. I'm exceptionally impressed that you made it through the LDAO faulty installation program mess. Now that's Persistence! Thanks for your interest. Tim Romine AFOL (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Better UCS X-wing Canopy

(...) It seems like mistakes always slip through the first version of any part. At least, they do on mine. Steve (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: new part- UCS X-wing canopy

(...) MLCad and LEdit both go strictly by the descriptive names for parts. LDraw Add-On's VEC looks for the 0 CATEGORY meta-statement for organizing parts. LDList and Partsref make use of both 0 KEYWORDS and 0 CATEGORY for organizing and/or finding (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Better UCS X-wing Canopy

(...) After installation I recieve 2 error messages. Mlcad is unable to locate the following files: UCSDET01.dat and UCSDET02.dat Greetz, Jay Ps. Great part by the way!! (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Better UCS X-wing Canopy  [DAT]

Tim Romine, here! Sorry about the first part blues, but I guess it was inevitable that some mistakes would slip through. Anyway, thanks to the help of many comments by the sharp-eyed and sharp-minded, it's all better now... I think... As always, (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: new part- UCS X-wing canopy

(...) Gosh, all I thought Ldraw/MLCad used for sorting was the "0 line" comment; the first word is what mklist.exe uses for organization if you select sort by description by either entering a 'd' during running of the program (the hard way) or if (...)   Re: BMP-to-LDraw32 Converter 0.96 release!  [DAT]

Re: new part- UCS X-wing canopy

(...) Not your fault. it happens (...) Keywords tell Ldraw/MLCad what to put it under in the library (i think). If it is a minifig hat it will put it under minifig catagory. (...) I don't have a clue. Sorry :-) Rick (24 years ago, 9-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: new part- UCS X-wing canopy

(...) Uh oh! Now my ignorance is showing. Well, so much for 'WOW'ing people with my first part! OK, ummm... What are "keywords", and how would I include them in .dat and/or .mpd files? If this question seems too fundamental to waste time on, please (...) (24 years ago, 9-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
