(...) I think your both of your files are significant improvements over the existing primitives. My only concern is the possible impact changing the primitive could have on other files, where surfaces intersect spheres, but not at the edges of the (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Please read my previous post regarding a possible replacement for 1-8sphe.dat. This post will make more sense if you do. I started a discussion on the .dev group regarding sphere tesselation a little while back, and it came out that there is some dissatisfaction with the current sphere primitive. I have finished the code which generates a replacement sphere primitive, (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Accually there is: the 4 x 4 base the 4 x 4 tall base (this is the one I have a mock-up of) the middle mast section the upper mast section, also used as a bowspirit on older ships and then the newer bowspirit piece used on things like the (...)
