Actually the "Hoser" program is a spreadsheet used for generating the
system-type flexible hoses. It wouldn't really work well for the flex tubing.
At some point in the distant future (at least after the novelty of SW Lego sets
wears off) I plan to extend the spreadsheet to the technic-type hoses as well
as the flex tubing.
I played around with your model substituting 4-4cyli.dats for the 8-8sphe.dats.
It looked great for the the straighter parts of the tubing, but poor where the
tubing curved, as each section of tubing did not point toward the next.
I'd be interested in seeing what your model looks like in POV.
