  Re: Modern Police Department

(...) I didn't think Datsville was about claiming precendence for stuff. I thought it was about a shared experiment in creating a world... What's the harm in having two police stations and more equipment than just what you did? Else I coud claim (...) (25 years ago, 3-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Datsville tracked excavator/bulldozer  [DAT]

Here's a small and simple tracked excavator/bulldozer for Datsville. It's basic dimensions are 6x10 studs. Perhaps it can go on the low loader? For simplicity, I made sure to center the vehicle in the X-Z-plane. Y=0 is the ground level of the model. (...) (25 years ago, 3-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Steve Bliss' Tree

(...) The hardest part was keeping it skinny, and yet getting it looking "filled in" enough. The way Lego does (Lego do?) trees in the official sets makes for some pretty stark landscapes. Steve (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: apartments

(...) This is a cool building. I did see some problems, though. First, the couch floats a plate off the floor. Two plates (1x1, 1x2) in the stair sections are not seated under the rest of the pieces. Also, I think the stair color should be changed (...) (25 years ago, 30-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) I built one of these - kinda - from looking at the rendering before you posted the DAT file, Steve, and I used the 4-blade freestyle propellors instead of the Technic 3-blade rotors - much easier to find, and grey and black look OK once the (...)
