Inspiration was more of doing something with a dome using the sphere generator. It was part of Steendam at LEGOWORLD 2002! I am rebuilding it now, and adding more detail. Jaco "M. (...) Has your MOC been insipred by a large observatory, or by one of those small observatories run by a group of voluntary astonomers, or "volkssterrenwacht" as we call them in the Netherlands? Jaco, (...) Bummer, dude - but, hey, it gave you a little time to have fun, eh? (...) of bricks, but it seems to be at minifig scale AND it moves around with the moving telescope! That's pretty neat! I think it'd also be neat to see a staff of (...) (22 years ago, 8-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.space)

Hej Jeroen, thx for the credits!! I'm surprised you used the LGEO library for this, since in my view more realism can be achieved by the 'normal' LDRAW brickset together with a 'seam' between bricks.   First Lego Classics poster ready (at last!)
 
Hi all, This weekend the first picture for a Lego Classic poster finished rendering. It took some time but the result is very nice. The models are build and the scene is composed by Jan Folkersma.
