My second gen. Beretta, this time the slide can be "racked" (what you see people do in movies when they load a round from the clip into the chamber by pulling the slide back). I threw this together in about 2 hours tonight. It's roughly life-sized and fits into my hand nicely. I was really surprised at how well it turned out, since I didn't hit the web for pics or anything, I just worked from memory (movies, video games (...) (...) In order to have all the angles right and to move parts around (view with wheels turned or hatch up) there is about 90 files that are used for that model. i have tried and tried again to make the 8880 super car in leocad and mlcad, and have had no luck when i hit the odd angled pieces that make up most of the body shell and engine. it is way too hard to place these pieces from my experiences, but from (...) (...) Sure. I use MLCAD myself, but only to _render_ (display) the model. For my actual typing, I use Notepad. (A DAT file is simply an ASCII text file with a different extension.) Open up Wordpad (not Notepad). Open a File, of "any type", in your (...) (24 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Thanks Can you elaborate more on your suggested change? I'm a newbie to this stuff, and just use MLCAD for all editing. I never mess with the actual text files or part properties. (...) Nah, don't worry about it with small files. Your "Baroque Church Facade" post was only 47,684 bytes (about 46.5 KB) -- still pretty small.
