i have tried and tried again to make the 8880 super car in leocad and mlcad, and have had no luck when i hit the odd angled pieces that make up most of the body shell and engine. it is way too hard to place these pieces from my experiences, but from (...) (...) Sure. I use MLCAD myself, but only to _render_ (display) the model. For my actual typing, I use Notepad. (A DAT file is simply an ASCII text file with a different extension.) Thanks Can you elaborate more on your suggested change? I'm a newbie to this stuff, and just use MLCAD for all editing. I never mess with the actual text files or part properties. (...) Nah, don't worry about it with small files. Your "Baroque Church Facade" post was only 47,684 bytes (about 46.5 KB) -- still pretty small.
