Here are some wheels I developed for the DeLorean I am building for minifigs. This model is supposed to be the Lego version of the car in "Back To The Futre II" It took me about four days, pretty much constantly thinking about it, to develop this. (...) This next file is the wheel mount with the wheel in the "flying" position. Once again, I would appreciate some feedback. Sorry, my original post didn't have correct positioning of the parts. This one has the pieces pushed in all the way. I like this mount because when the wheel are folded under, they fit inside the wheel well because the pivot point is high and close (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

(...) It's pretty good, but I think they need to slide on the "tap" piece just a bit to get underneath. Also, the wheel does not stick out to the side the way it does in back to the futre, it goes underneath just a tad to much. Thanks for the (...) (25 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

(...) I've seen some pictures of some models that were actually used in the movie. Unfourtunatly, I don't remember the web address. The wheels folded down with some kind of pump, either pnumatic, or hydralic, I could't tell for sure. You might try (...) (25 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)
