  Datsville Town Hall Problems!

(...) No, it doesn't look as if I messed it up! It's been a problem with it even before I touched it. (URL) at the left side: there is a 30 LDU overlap and the building is not symmetric. How do we fix that? /Tore (17 years ago, 27-Nov-09, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Minifig 6x scale LDraw File Part I - Head

Hi, I've started a 6x scale Set and thought why not building a Minifig first. So I decided to build it in real and provide building instructions as LDraw file. So here is the first part. The head!   Datsville Town Hall files needed

It looks like I've messed up the Town Hall files in an early stage while experimenting on inlining them, extracting, ldboxing, unboxing and so on. And now all my versions come out wrong. Could somebody please send me some working copies of the (...) (17 years ago, 24-Nov-09, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Datsville: To Box Or Not To Box

A new revision (rev020) of my unofficial Datsville is at: (URL) box or not to box... I'm inclined to replace all parts where both studs and bottom tubes are completely hidden with box replacement files. That's in order to save processor power. (...)   BBB Medium drivers

I recently made some crude but perfectly useable versions of the BBB medium drivers: both flanged and blind. They're a fair bit smaller than Ben's originals and make extensive use of primitives. <https://sites.googl...elgambort/ (URL) Since BS (...)   Technic Shock Absorber 6.5L

Hello all, How likely is it this (reworked) part will be in the next (<6mnts or so) official library? Cause I'm working on realtime spring generation in my LD4DStudio project and would really like to include a sample using these (classic) shocks (...)   Request part 31367 (Duplo Container Egg Base)

Re: Open cylinder primitives, any demand?

Re: Open cylinder primitives, any demand?

(...) Guess I replied way too soon. I may revise my earlier reply after giving it some more thought. A 1/4 cylinder with both ends closed would of course be better for rounded cornerns. A cylinder with both ends open could be useful when making (...) (17 years ago, 3-Nov-09, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Re: Open cylinder primitives, any demand?

Re: Open cylinder primitives, any demand?

(...) Naming is not an important issue to me. Either name would be fine for me. The one important thing for me is that it doesn't mess up with renderers and utilities that make primitive substitutions. But I don't see that there should be any risk (...)
