Re: wierd color in set 1831, grey-ish blue? or light blue?

(...) Yes it is Light Blue. As far as I know, only three other sets have ever used light: 1651 Maersk Truck, 8501 Ski Throwbot, and 8503 Scuba Throwbot. This color was original made just for the Maersk Promotional sets (and is nearly impossible to (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad)

hey ive got a idea. well let me start off my idea is to use a "4 x 16" for a 4 x 8 maersk "sticker", just in the dat file shrink the file by half < 1 16 -10<x> 40<y> 0<z> 0 0 .50 0 0 .50 0 0 .50 maersk.dat > , and that should give better detail (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: New rendering: The sinking of Regina Maersk

(...) Suppose you used the height field around the ships and then transitioned it into a simple bumpmap for the rest of the ocean? That way, you would see the waves against the ship hulls, but you would also get decent wave effects at distance and (...) (26 years ago, 17-Nov-98, to lugnet.cad)
