  L3P and the LDAO Minifig Modeller
 
has anyone tried porting a model with a minifig to POV with L3P when the minifig was posed using LDAO's minifig modeller??? because of the meta scripting it appears L3P does the same thing as Ledit, it just piles the fig parts in one place... i was (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) yeah.. (not to speak for steve... but until he does...) it looks like the minifig modeller uses the new "Meta" command structure that LDlite can interpret... unfortunately LEdit cannot, and neither can L3P... here's sample of a sitting fig... (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) ahhh... in all honesty, i haven't played with the command line switches on LDLite enough to know what all of its options are.. hehee.. you know what we need??? LDLiteAdd-On!!..heheehe.. just kidding... Steve had mentioned having an advanced (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) You can convert a minifig file to full LDraw compatibility by running LDLite with the -r<outfile> option. Just launch it from a command prompt, something like: C:\LDRAW\LDLITE>ldlite minifig.dat -rldmini.dat The output file is written to the (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)
