Apparently that's a 2MB OEM version of the Matrox MGA card.  Any chance
you could spend a few minutes and see if the DOS version of ldglite
runs on it?  Don't bother if it's too much work, I'm just curious.
The DOS ldglite executable is about an 800K download and expands into
a 2MB executable (someday I'll figure out how to make it smaller).
You can get it and the DOS extender you'll probably need to run it at

http:\\ldglite.sourceforge.net

You might also need a VESA driver.  This page claims to have one for
the Qvision 2000.  Looks like it's the same as the MGA driver.

But like I said, don't bother if it's too much work.  Someday when
I'm really bored I'll dig up some old hardware and test it more
myself.

Here is the provisional outcome of this experiment, on startup it showed te
following error message:

visual = 397954
context = 39b9d4
set_color_depth = 16
screen = 0
Error setting graphics mode:
Resolution not supported

With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen.
