Also I've been studing in closer detail some of the TIE based .mpd files
that I posted and some of the files are a bit off.  I took the TIE • Intercept
to beging making building instructions and noticed two things a) most • sets
are using UNKNOWN colors to ldraw and POV-Ray (The drak grey is a bit too
dark) and b) some of the peices are NOT correclty lined up.  The • rendering
of the whole model does not show this as its a small un-alinment but when
doing the step-by-steps you can see the problem.  So at this point I'm in • a
bind if I want to recreate the files to get better building instructions • or
just drop the whole thing. I'm leaning to dropping the whole thing but
that's just because I'm real tired right now and I think I need to take a
few days off from LEGO all together.

i would say.. drop it. leae the files as is. its like trying to recreate a
classic. i would clean them up though (DONT YOU DARE MAIL THEM TO ME!) i • got
my own work.. making ep 2 dat sets

If you want the MPD of my TIE MOC just let me know - I just need to tidy the
file up as I had some parts in unavailable colours, but I built the actual
model about 12 months ago and had to change a couple of things. Photos here:

The TIE Interceptor that you PHYSCIALL built does it just use pieces from
the TIE FIGHTER set only?  I'm wondering if by using only TIE Fighter sets
you can build the following TIEs

TIE Advance
Tie Inteceptor
TIE Bomber
TIE Defender

Does anyone know?  Have anyone tried this route?
