I don't know if it (AAT) was based on the actual LEGO set or not? I don't
have my instruction booklet of that set with me here in san diego, its back
in chicago. Furthermore, since I did not create the ldraw file and the
author is MIA I can't find out from him. For that reason all the .mpd/.ldr
files that I posted that LEGO made offical models of are called
<name>_Unoffical.

Great! Keeps me from having to do them. I would love it if once you are
done we can maintain a set of all the ldraw files at one central location?
Perhaps at fbtb.net or somewhere else so that everyone can have access to them.
Also I've been studing in closer detail some of the TIE based .mpd files
that I posted and some of the files are a bit off. I took the TIE Intercept
to beging making building instructions and noticed two things a) most sets
are using UNKNOWN colors to ldraw and POV-Ray (The drak grey is a bit too
dark) and b) some of the peices are NOT correclty lined up. The rendering
of the whole model does not show this as its a small un-alinment but when
doing the step-by-steps you can see the problem. So at this point I'm in a
bind if I want to recreate the files to get better building instructions or
just drop the whole thing. I'm leaning to dropping the whole thing but
that's just because I'm real tired right now and I think I need to take a
few days off from LEGO all together.
