I am extremely new to this whole LDRAW experience.
When I first start up MLCAD from inside the C:/LDRAW directory, I get three
or four error messages saying that "####.dat (where #### is any number) not
found! Continue loading?" This also happens with (so far) randomly-selected
parts in the parts list (selected from MLCAD). I did download the latest
parts listing from the LDRAW site if that helps.
The latest readme.txt file found with the zip package is not very
explanatory. I still don't know what .exe files are supposed to be in what
directory. On the root C:/? In the LDRAW directory? Both? Who can say?
All I want is for the darn (expletives reluctantly suppressed) thing to
work. Whatever file shifting or downloading I need to do.
Please assist!!
