You'll definitely want to setup the inclusion of POV-ray primitives (see
Lars' L3p website for more info) to make your renderings more realistic-looking.

TIP: Once you get L3p and L3pao setup, edit your c:\windows\ldraw.ini to
reflect the proper paths to your basedirectory and lgeodirectory (more info
in the various Help files).  Then, make the Ldraw.ini file _read only_.
Either L3pao or l3p kept going into mine and erasing my basedirectory setting.


If you use l3p without l3pao (at command line), it helps to turn on DOSKEY
so you don't have to keep retyping stuff a hundred times.
