directory.
Size is: 129,808 bytes.
Time/Date is: Saturday, July 19, 1997, 4:00:32 PM

Hi Andy,

Missed your first post, sorry.  I tried it out and upgraded my VB6.0; • works
fine.  My OS is up-to-date via WindowsUpdate with the exception of • SP2.  I only
have one COMDLG32.OCX on my system, in the C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 • directory.  What
is the location, date and size of the COMDLG32.OCX file you have?

Cheers, Heather

How about this:  Is anyone using L3PAO on Windows 2000 Professional?

Hello all,
I am trying to get L3PAO working on my new laptop that is running • Windows
2000 Professional.  When I try to run the application, I get an • error box
that states the following:

Failed to load control 'CommonDialog' from COMDLG32.OCX.  Your • version of
COMDLG32.OCX may be outdated.  Make sure you are using the version • of the
control that was provided with your application.

I went to the L3PAO site ( http://l3pao.malagraphixia.com/ ) and • followed
the link to download the Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime module.  It brings • you to
a link that says that it was updated, so I followed the link to the • updated
version and downloaded and installed that.  Still didn't work.

Also, I have POV-RAY installed on this machine already and have used • it
before, so that part is working.

Any assisstance would be appreciated.

Aha, that's it. Mine is 140,288 bytes, dated May 7/99. Interestingly, it has the same date as a couple other OCX's that have Microsoft tracks, dunno where from. You can run but you can't hide... Anyway, it's on the way to you via e-mail - let us (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.cad)
