I got version 1.3.1 and version 1.3.21 to work on my desktop running WIN98
but not on my laptop running WIN Me.
I'm not sure what it was but this is what I did to make it work on the desktop.
1. Removed the following from my PC: ldraw, l3p and l3pAO
2. Downloaded all the files from the net again: ldraw and complete, l3p, and
l3pao
3. installed ldraw in a NEW directory called: c:\lego\ldraw (ALL SMALL
LETTERS NO CAPS)
4. installed l3p and l3pao into a NEW directory called c:\lego\l3p
5. Moved lgeo lib file to a new location c:\lego\lgeo
6. ran ldraw 1st byitself
7. changed my ldraw.ini file to make sure that the lgeo lib is beeing looked
for.
8. changed my autoexec.bat to include the path to l3p also added a path to
c:\lego\lgeo and c:\lego\l3p
7. ran l3p by itself (testing the lgeo lib files)
8. ran l3pao and told it where to find the files it needed.
9. cried becuase it finally works on one machine.
ps.
I'm not sure if l3pao cares about this but I made sure that LEDIT.exe was
typed as LEdit.exe. This is what l3pao keeps asking for and I have notice
that if not type as LDedit.exe it can not find it.
Now does anyone know why this does not work on WIN ME.

| I got the following email from J (creator of L3PAO) Sorry about that. It was a small error in the code. I'm running ME on the system that the code was written on, so that wasn't the issue. It was my fault. Try this .exe, it should work for you now. (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad)
