Hi all,
Ok. I'm a newbie and have just been using these tools for a short time. I
have run into a tiny little problem, and I was wondering if someone could tell
me what I am doing wrong.
Tools I am using:
MLCad 1.9r4
L3P and L3PAO
POV-Ray
I have been having some success with these tools, until I tried to render only
one (1) LDraw part in POVRay. If I try to render only 1 part, then the part
comes out gray, instead of the color that it shows up in MLCad. If I add
another part, without changing the first in any way, they both come out their
proper colors. The first part that I tried this with was the Fruit Tree, and
then I tried it with the Pine Tree 4 x 4 x 6 2/3, so I went and tried to
render a simple 2 x 4 red brick with the same result, it came out gray. Then
I added another part, and they both came out correct.
Any Ideas?
-Andy Lynch
P.S. Yes, I know that it sounds goofy to be rendering only one part, but I
wanted it to look realistic as possible, and that is what POVRay is for, isn't
it? :-)
