This afternoon, I downloaded LDraw and MLCAD and tried it out for the very
first time. Overall, it went very smooth after I figured out the basics, MLCAD
seems very good. One problem I did have was trying to add a triangular plate at
an angle. I don't know the technical name of this particular part, but it's the
ones that are used in some castle sets to attach plates as rooves on an angle -
it's #6044 in the parts list: it's a 1x3x3 has five studs on the sloped side.
Anyway, the model I was trying to make instructions for requires that I put a
triangular plate (2419 - 3x6 without corners) on the sloped studs of two of the
6044's. I wasn't able to rotate the plate to match the angle - am I dense or is
this a software prob? If it's the program, is there a better windows CAD
program? Any help is greatly appreciated.
