(...) right.. LDLite supports the new META command language.. but it was invented after LDraw... to convert the model to standard LDraw format you need to run LDLite on the model with the -R switch.. you have to do this at the DOS command line.. (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) OK... I tried this. It didn't work. :-( My existing file is called "A.DAT", and i'll call the new, LDraw-friendly file "B.DAT". From the MS-DOS prompt, I typed in: LDLITE -RB.DAT A.DAT and LDLite created a one-line file for B.DAT, shown here (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) grrr.. that's right... i haven't used this switch in a while... forgot that 1.6 broke it... and i don't have a copy of 1.5 that i can send... anyone out there have the 1.5 release of LDLite, or a location where it can be DL'd???? J (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)
